The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations is almost upon us, and the Super Eagles of Nigeria are looking to make history in Morocco.

The three-time African champions have been in pursuit of a fourth continental title since 2013, and the players are hungry for success.

However, the path to glory will not be easy, with heavyweights like Senegal, Egypt, South Africa, and the hosts, Morocco, all eyeing the trophy.

Nigeria is in Group C alongside Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania. They begin their journey this Wednesday against Tanzania, where they will be looking to start on a strong note.

In this article, Soccernet.ng highlights the four stadiums where the Super Eagles could potentially play during their time in Morocco.

Complexe Sportif De Fès

The Super Eagles will play all three of their Group C matches at the Complexe Sportif De Fès. Located in Fes, this is one of Morocco’s premier venues, boasting a capacity of 45,000.

The stadium took nearly 11 years to complete; construction began in 1992 and was finalized in 2003. The pitch features natural grass, which should suit the Super Eagles’ style of play. If Nigeria tops the group, they will also play their Round of 16 match in Fez.

Grand Stade de Marrakech

The Super Eagles will only feature at this venue if they win their group and advance to the quarterfinals. Just like the stadium in Fez, this is a multipurpose venue with a capacity of 45,240.

The turf consists of natural grass, which is ideal for the Super Eagles’ many Europe-based stars. Completed in 2011, the Grand Stade de Marrakech has a prestigious history, having already hosted the FIFA Club World Cup.

Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdallah

Should Nigeria reach the semifinals, they will move to the Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdallah.

This is familiar territory for the Super Eagles, as they previously played continental World Cup playoffs at this venue.

A thing of beauty. The spotlight’s on in hours. ️

The stadium is one of the largest in Morocco, with a capacity of 61,780. Note that while this main complex is well-established, the nearby Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Hassan was recently commissioned this year.

Stade Mohammed V

Located in Casablanca, one of the world’s most iconic cities — Stade Mohammed V will host the third-place play-off.

If the Super Eagles find themselves in the bronze medal match, this 45,000-seater edifice will be their destination.

This world-class multipurpose stadium features an excellent playing surface, ensuring the players can perform at their best.
