‘Identified a suspect’

The national commissioner said police have identified a suspect and are confident that an arrest is imminent.

“A suspect has been identified and he will be arrested before Monday,” Masemola assured.

“We will have the suspect arrested. He is a known suspect and will definitely be arrested, if not today then over the weekend.”

The killing of DJ Warras has sparked public outrage, with calls for swift justice as police continue investigations into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
