An early look at next month

- by Ben Kerry

As we always do around this time of the month, we’re taking an early look today at what’s ahead for January 2026‘s Xbox Game Pass selection, with two titles having been confirmed for the service next month already.
Our headline game so far, simply by nature of the fact that it’s coming for both console and PC players, is probably MIO: Memories in Orbit – an upcoming Metroidvania from Focus Entertainment. As the above heading suggests, we have one other title also confirmed ahead of Microsoft revealing more Game Pass additions in the new year.
Without further ado, here’s what’s been announced for Xbox Game Pass next month so far (January 2026):
MIO: Memories In Orbit – Console, PC (January 20)
Play as android MIO in this mesmerizing metroidvania where you explore the Vessel, an enormous technological ark overgrown with machines gone rogue. Uncover its secrets, enhance MIO’s abilities, and save the spaceship and its residents from oblivion.
Nova Roma – PC (January 22)
The glory of Rome is at your fingertips in this city-building game where you must appease the gods, enact laws, and develop complex supply chains to meet the needs of your citizens.
Looking forward to either of these? Talk to us about our early XGP titles for January 2026 down below.
