Nov. 4 (UPI) — The Baltimore Ravens agreed to trade a conditional fifth-round pick to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for edge rusher Dre’Mont Jones, he confirmed on social media.

“The NFL is too crazy,” Jones wrote Monday on X. “Thank you Titans family. I loved and appreciated my short time in Nashville too much. Cam [rookie quarterback Cam Ward] is the truth too y’all give ’em time, he can be great!

“I’m ready to be Raven rocking that purple and black!”

Jones, 28, totaled 26 combined tackles, five tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks and a fumble recovery over nine starts this season for the Titans.

The third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft spent his first four seasons with the Denver Broncos. Jones signed a three-year, $51.5 million deal with the Seahawks in 2023, but was released in March. He signed a one-year deal with the Titans about a week later.

Jones totaled 236 combined tackles, 45 tackles for a loss and 35 sacks over the first 99 appearances of his NFL career.

The NFL’s 2025 trade deadline is set for 4 p.m. EST Tuesday.
