There is no break clause in the loan deal that Manchester United made with Aston Villa over Jadon Sancho, according to Football Insider.
Sancho joined Villa on a loan deal from Man Utd in the summer of 2025. The English winger’s current contract with the Red Devils runs out at the end of next season, but the Premier League club do have the option to extend it for a further 12 months.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke said: “I think he will see out the season at Villa.
“I don’t think there is a break clause in that loan deal that would allow him to return to United in January. So it does seem that Jadon Sancho will see out the season at Aston Villa.
“It’s not great that for any player to be brought on as a substitute and then to be taken off as well in the same game [against Man City on 26 October].
“But he has struggled to make an impact in the squad, there’s no getting away from that. We know what Unai Emery demands.”
