Cape Town’s scenic Camps Bay Beach is gearing up for an unforgettable volleyball spectacle as the Beach Pro Tour lands in South Africa for the very first time. It will run from 22 to 26 October.

The driving force behind this historic event is none other than Leo Williams.

FORMER OLYMPIAN LEO WILLIAMS

Leo Williams is a local volleyball legend and, former Olympian. He is also the national champion whose vision is to set new standards for the sport in the country.

Leo Williams turned his journey from South Africa’s top-ranked beach volleyball player into a story of passion. He became an international tournament organiser.

Having started his career at the University of the Western Cape, Williams represented South Africa across the globe.

He carried the national flag high, including serving as the flag bearer at the 2024 All-African Games, according to Good Things Guy.
