What a dachshund does with his Frisbee has melted hearts across the internet.

Emma (@emmahammm) shared a video of her dachshund, Wally, bundled up and asleep on a yellow, soft pizza Frisbee. The clip has garnered more than 12 million views and quickly went viral among dog lovers.

Emma told Newsweek: “I thought it was perfect for him because it was soft, but after playing with it for awhile, he carried it into the sunlight (he loves to sunbathe), set it down, and curled up on it for a couple hours! I thought it was so cute especially because the Frisbee is shaped like a pizza.

“Even now that he’s grown a little, he still tries to fit on it and take a nap,” Wally’s owner added.

The video shows Wally snuggled up on his new unconventional bed, looking completely content.

“Bought him a Frisbee, he said thanks for the new bed,” read the text overlaying the video. The owner said in the caption how Wally slept on it for three hours.

Dogs often choose their sleeping spots based on comfort, warmth, and security. Many prefer soft beds or blankets, while others are drawn to unusual objects such as laundry piles, cardboard boxes, or even shoes.

Dog Friendly Co says that some canines like enclosed spaces that make them feel safe, while others stretch out in sunny patches to soak up warmth. Sleeping positions and locations can also reveal how relaxed and secure a dog feels in their environment, offering insight into their personality and mood.

TikTok viewers were quick to share their own pets’ quirky sleeping habits.

“He just fits so perfectly,” said one user.

“I took some strays in off the street and they literally used the cardboard boxes in my garage to sleep in. Ran out so fast and got them real beds,” posted Brittany.

“When my cat was a kitten (19 years ago, she has now passed) she used my slipper as a bed,” added Mel.

“Mine is sleeping on his tunnel,” shared another user.

“Reminds me of when my senior dog claimed the new puppies bed,” added Caylin.

“Mine slept on a pizza I bought her,” commented Alyssa.

“Mine preferred to sleep in their toy box instead of their bed,” said Kay.
