Including an action-packed 5-3 victory against KaPa last month, Grieve’s side have registered nine points from their previous four Ykkosliiga showdowns at the OmaSP Stadion.

As for the visitors, already relinquishing their second-tier status with a real whimper, SalPa have endured a public crisis this season. Sat rock-bottom of the Ykkosliiga table, Jordi Aluja’s side have put just six points on the board from any of their 16 appearances this year. Last seen putting in another downbeat display as they slumped to a 3-1 loss against Klubi, Monday’s guests are desperate to see the back of the 2025 campaign. Getting July underway with an action-packed 4-3 defeat against JaPS, the Salo-based outfit have lost six of their previous seven Ykkosliiga matchups – a run that stems back to a 0-0 stalemate at home against JIPPO on June 14th. It should also be highlighted, Aluja’s already-relegated squad have mustered just a sole second-tier win this season and are once again pencilled in as a real underdog contender here.
