Might 25 (UPI) — Englishman Lando Norris received the Monaco Grand Prix from pole place Sunday, and narrowed the hole for the drivers’ championship sequence to a few factors.
“Monaco, child, yeah child!” Norris radioed to this pit crew after crossing the end line.
Norris is battling for the F1 drivers’ championship together with his McLaren crew mate Oscar Piastri, who leads within the factors standings 161 to 158.
The race got here all the way down to the wire as Ferrari driver and native favourite Charles LeClerc closed the hole, however misplaced out to Norris.
Present world champion Max Verstappen completed in fourth place in Monaco Sunday. The sequence strikes to Spain subsequent Sunday.
