March 7 (UPI) — Sheriff’s deputies in Georgia rushed into motion when a jail break-in was perpetrated by a “white feminine” suspect: a duck.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Workplace stated on social media that “a white feminine was found contained in the perimeter fence on the Polk County Jail” about 7:43 a.m. Wednesday.

The suspect, a duck, “tried to go over the perimeter fence in an try to flee seize,” the sheriff’s workplace stated.

Deputies cornered the duck to maintain her from being injured by the razor wire on the perimeter fence.

“She couldn’t inform us the place she got here from or how she acquired right here, however we did discover she had an injured foot,” the publish stated. “We had been in a position to name for backup and after a prolonged standoff involving two companies, we had been in a position to take her into custody.”

Polk County Animal Management assisted with the seize of the jail trespasser.
