Ghanaians have lambasted the Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the Minority over his uncouth assertion that has incited violence between NPP and NDC supporters.

The assertion, which many critics have described as divisive and inflammatory, has drawn sharp criticism from a broad spectrum of Ghanaians.

Throughout a public engagement, Annoh-Dompreh  urged members of the New Patriotic Social gathering (NPP) to prioritise their social gathering affiliations over equity in disputes involving members of the Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC).

He stated, “For those who’re NPP and you discover an NDC supporter combating a fellow NPP member, assist be@t the NDC!”

This comment has ignited intense backlash, with many describing it as unbecoming of a lawmaker. Critics argue that such rhetoric fosters partisanship, undermines nationwide unity, and encourages violence quite than constructive dialogue.

One person wrote:
“Our leaders must be selling peace, not fuelling division. That is unacceptable from somebody in his place!”

One other commented:
“We want leaders who unite, not divide us. Politics shouldn’t be a battleground for hostility!”
