Nollywood rising star Persistence Ugwu, popularly often known as Pat Ugwu, has tragically died.

Ugwu’s dying was introduced on Wednesday, February fifth, 2025, on social media by a number of of her colleagues. She was solely 35 years outdated.

“Relaxation in peace sis. Pat Ugwu. @patpat_ugwu so we no get to work once more? Loss of life whyooo? God please. Relaxation in peace PAT. Could your soul relaxation within the bosom of the Lord,” actor Emeka Okoye wrote on Instagram.

Ugwu’s dying shocked not solely Nigerians however some colleague actors of hers.

“Chai simply wakened this morning to listen to the dying of one in all our crew and forged… relaxation in peace useless Pat Ugwu,” mentioned actor Kevin Mike.

Pat Ugwu was a local of Umuogbu Itchi in Igbo-Eze South Native Authorities Space of Enugu State. She had been making waves in Nollywood of late with a number of outstanding roles.

Ugwu is ready to be buried on Friday, February 7, 2025 in her hometown of Umuogbu Itchi.
