WASHINGTON (AP) — A Massachusetts man was arrested on weapons fees after he visited the U.S. Capitol on Monday and instructed police that he wished to kill prime Republicans, together with billionaire investor Scott Bessent on the day that the Senate confirmed him as President Donald Trump’s treasury secretary, in line with a Tuesday court docket submitting.

Ryan Michael English, 24, of South Deerfield, Massachusetts, was arrested on the Capitol after he approached police and mentioned he had knives and Molotov cocktails in his possession and wished to give up, in line with a Capitol police officer’s affidavit.
