Otumfuo’s Entourage Attacked In Techiman, A number of Injured Together with Baby

Tensions ran excessive in Techiman on December 2, 2024, because the entourage of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II confronted a violent assault whereas coming back from a funeral in Nkoranza. The assault left a number of people, together with a baby, injured.

The incident occurred because the buses carrying Otumfuo’s convoy traveled by way of Techiman. In response to viral movies claiming that Otumfuo’s convoy was instantly attacked, the Manhyia Palace issued an announcement debunking the allegations. They urged the general public to ignore the misinformation.

This troubling incident has deepened tensions between the Techiman and Nkoranza communities. Authorities are actually working to defuse the scenario and stop any additional escalation.
