Election 2024 – Presidential Candidates Signal Peace Pact Forward Of December 7 Polls

As Ghana prepares for the December 7 basic elections, all presidential candidates have pledged to make sure peace by signing a peace pact. The ceremony, held on November 28, 2024, on the Kempinski Lodge, aimed to advertise unity and stability earlier than, throughout, and after the elections.

The presidential candidates current on the peace pact ceremony included Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia (NPP), John Mahama (NDC), Daniel Augustus Lartey (GCPP), Christian Kwabena Andrews (GUM), Kofi Akpaloo (LPG), Nana Akosua Frimpomaa Kumankuma (CPP), Hassan Abdulai Ayariga (APC), Mohammed Frimpong (NDP), and impartial candidates Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Nana Kwame Bediako, Kofi Koranteng, and George Twum-Barima-Adu.

Because the election date nears, the peace pact serves as a powerful reminder of the significance of sustaining Ghana’s peace and stability.
