The Arewa Consultative Discussion board (ACF) has suspended its Nationwide Chairman, Mr Mamman Mike Osuman over an unauthorized assertion on 2027 election.
An announcement issued Thursday by the Chairman of ACF Board Trustees, Alh Bashir Muhammad Dalhatu and Nationwide Secretary, Alh Murtala Aliyu, attributed the suspension of the chairman on remarks he made on 2027.
It reads in components: “Particularly, Mr. Osuman was quoted as saying that the North will again a northern candidate for the presidency, come 2027.
The assertion burdened that “Our consideration has been drawn to broadly reported statements credited to Mr. Mamman Mike Osuman, SAN, OFR, Chairman, ACF Nationwide Govt Committee (NEC), which have been made through the assembly of the NEC, held on Wednesday, November, 2024, at ACF Headquarters, Kaduna.
The statements have been made by the NEC Chairman with out consulting or discussing with different leaders and members of the ACF and thus, mirrored Mr. Osuman’s private opinion solely.
“ACF rejects Mr. Mamman Mike
Osuman’s statements of their entirety. Because of this, the management of the ACF’s Board of Trustees (BOT) and that of its NEC has determined to position Mr. Mamman Mike Osuman on suspension with instant impact.
The assertion declared, “A Committee has been constituted for additional investigations”, it added.
