The real reason behind this boycott is the fear of mixed race communities. The city must fill up the land with affordable even in Constantia and other surbabs so that we can live in a true rainbow nation. So the poor people who are non white in majority must stay in the outskirts of Cape Town and become more poor by traveling long distances to work on top of earning peanuts. If you care so much about nature you should also think for us poor animals. We want to stay as close as possible to the burbs so that they can share their private security and the overwhelming police visibility that we don’t enjoy in the townships.
