The Financial Coverage Committee (MPC) of the Central Financial institution of Nigeria (CBN) has raised the Financial Coverage Fee (MPR), which benchmarks rates of interest, to 27.25 p.c — from 26.75 p.c

Olayemi Cardoso, governor of the apex financial institution, who doubles because the Chairman of the MPC, introduced the speed adjustment on Tuesday on the finish of the committee’s 297th assembly in Abuja.
