JUST IN: PDP Expels Ex

Former Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu has been expelled from the Folks’s Democratic Occasion (PDP), SundiataPost experiences.

Shaibu was expelled alongside three outstanding members, together with Dan Orbih, Nationwide Vice Chairman (South South) and Omorgie Ogbeide-Ihama, former Home of Representatives member.

The State Publicity Secretary, Ogie Vasco, introduced the expulsion, citing anti-party actions.

He stated the choice to expel the trio was taken on Tuesday at a gathering attended by 9 members of the State Working Committee on the celebration’s secretariat in Benin Metropolis.

The SWC has extensively deliberated on the difficulty and resolved to expel with fast impact, Chief Dan Orbih, Nationwide Vice Chairman South South; Phillip Shaibu and upheld the expulsion of Ogbeide-Ihama from Ward 2, Oredo LGA,” he stated.

The expulsion comes after Shaibu and Ogbeide-Ihama brazenly supported the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Monday Okpebholo, whereas Orbih was appointed to a board by President Bola Tinubu.
