Bauchi commissioner dies in auto crash

The Bauchi State Commissioner for Native Authorities and Chieftaincy Affairs, Aliyu Sarki Ahmad Jalam, has died in an auto crash. 

Governor Bala Mohammed disclosed this in a condolence message to the members of his rapid household and the complete individuals of the state issued on Sunday, June 2, 2024. 

In response to him, the commissioner misplaced his life in an accident that occurred on the busy Misau-Darazo freeway on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

The governor described the deceased as a devoted public servant, whose dedication to the event and well-being of his native communities was unwavering.

“Throughout his lifetime, he championed quite a few initiatives geared toward enhancing good governance and group relations,” he stated. 

“Late Ahmed Jalam was identified for his tireless work, integrity, and compassion for the individuals he served and his service will probably be remembered and cherished by all.

“His demise is deeply felt by all and the numerous people whose lives he touched throughout his lifetime.”

The governor stated that the late commissioner, who left behind wives and plenty of youngsters, could be buried on Sunday in his hometown in Dambam Native Authorities Space based on Islamic rites.
