Afrigather The United Nations Improvement Programme (UNDP) has introduced N200 million in funding to 420 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bayelsa State.
In response to a press release, UNDP stated this initiative in collaboration with the European Union is geared toward empowering companies and mitigating socioeconomic challenges.
Governor Douye Diri throughout a ceremony held on the Authorities Home in Yenagoa, introduced a cheque to Joyce Oboro, chief of the UNDP delegation symbolising his assist.
“This administration had already launched into vital initiatives, together with coaching and empowering Bayelsa’s with starter packs and month-to-month grants of N200,000 to 420 small enterprise homeowners throughout the state’s 105 wards,” he stated.

The governor assured the UNDP delegation of the state’s dedication to the partnership, citing a shared imaginative and prescient of prosperity for Bayelsans.
