Yanmar Compact Gear has appointed Edinburgh-based Subject and Forest Equipment as its supplier for southern Scotland.

Subject and Forest’s territory for Yanmar stretches from the southern borders with England, as much as Edinburgh and Glasgow, and as far north because the Isle of Mull off west coast.

Subject and Forest specialises in serving the groundcare and forestry sectors, particularly the provision of specialized forestry attachments. It sees the addition of the Yanmar vary as complementary to its current buyer base.

Subject and Forest’s development tools specialist Harry Denholm, stated: “Partnering with Yanmar CE represents a serious milestone for Subject and Forest, enabling us to ship top-tier compact tools options, enhanced by Yanmar CE’s legacy of high quality and innovation.”
