The Lagos State authorities has declared zero tolerance for the extortion of residents, particularly motorists, by miscreants parading themselves as enforcement officers.

Olawale Musa, everlasting secretary, the Ministry of Transportation, gave this warning whereas addressing journalists after the arrest of 11 faux enforcement officers who extort cash each day from unsuspecting motorists on the state’s Ibeju-Lekki junction and Akodo space.

Musa famous that the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration wouldn’t fold its arms and permit some unscrupulous parts to proceed to carry hardship to its residents, particularly throughout this era of financial challenges within the nation.
