A resident of Janjala, Usman Kabiru, who confirmed the kidnapping to our reporter by phone on Monday, stated the incident occurred round 11pm on Saturday.
He stated the bandits first invaded a herders’ camp in Janjala and whisked away a 73- year-old man, Alhaji Dariye, earlier than continuing to Amala-Dam and abducting 13 folks.
He added that the bandits struck after they acquired info that troops that had been deployed to the world left after clearing the bandits’ camps within the space.
