Police Announce Rescue Of Kidnapped Abuja Sisters – Way of life Nigeria

The Police Command within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has introduced the rescue of the January 2 kidnap incident in Bwari Space Council of the FCT and reunited the sisters and others with their households.

The Police Public Relations Officer within the FCT, SP Josephine Adeh stated this in a press release on Sunday in Abuja.

She stated the victims had been rescued by operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Squad of the Police Command within the FCT in collaboration with troops of the Nigerian Military.

Adeh stated the victims had been rescued at about 11:30pm on Saturday round Kajuru forest in Kaduna State.

She counseled the Inspectors-Basic of Police (I-G), Mr Olukayode Egbetokun, for the deploying the newly inaugurated Particular Intervention Squad to the realm for the rescue of the sisters.

The FCT police spokesperson stated the deployment had uplifted the present safety structure of the FCT and brewed public confidence.

Adeh stated the Commissioner of Police in command of FCT, Mr Haruna Garba had pledged the dedication of the command to maintain the sturdy safety deployment in all components of FCT.

She urged FCT residents to promptly report suspicious actions of their areas to the police on 08032003913, 08061581938, 07057337653 and 08028940883.

In one other assertion, Adeh stated the command was conscious  of the information making the rounds about an alleged kidnap incident at River Park Property within the early hours of Saturday.
