A stosti police state within a state 😮
Policeman re thieves…In Eastern cape they almost robbed me my watch and necklace…it was late ..i was waiting for my mother to pick me up at the bus stop…a police van pulled over and i wss so relieved because it was late…and i knew one of the policeman…he complimented me and after that..he asked me to take off my watch and necklace…i asked him why?he responded because its beautiful and he likes it…i thought he was playing…he was aggressive..luckily my mother pulled up…he changed from aggressive to mr nice guy…

The sad news is… this will continue to happen as long as the police are still unable to pay for monthly vehicle fees and housing at the same time with their non-commissioned salaries, not mentioning the household items. South Africa Government must revise the police salaries, and this will reduce corruption drastically. We can’t expect the police to live with criminals at our township due to lack of housing and expect proper service delivery. Our police are starving, and these will always lead to corruption. I’m not saying what they did was justified, but the government must take care of our police in order to eliminate these issues from happening.
Our government needs to deal with the root cause of corruption, and the salaries of police are one of the roots…😔🇿🇦😕
