The Federal Authorities has put aside N2.5 billion within the proposed 2025 price range for the acquisition and set up of passenger boarding bridges at Lagos airport.

This allocation, Financial Confidential gathered that falls underneath the N105.95 billion budgeted for the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Growth, with N93.03 billion devoted to capital initiatives, as a part of the general N49.74 trillion price range.

The venture, which is categorised as ongoing, aimed toward bettering passenger comfort and operational effectivity at Nigeria’s busiest airport.

The passenger boarding bridges will permit for seamless boarding and disembarking of passengers instantly from the terminal, bypassing the necessity for shuttle buses or strolling on the tarmac.

Their set up will streamline operations, notably for worldwide flights, and improve security requirements.
