Tinubu fires Arase, appoints retired DIG Argungu as PSC Chairman

President Bola Tinubu has authorized the appointment of Hashimu Argungu, retired Deputy Inspector Common of Police (DIG) because the Chairman of the Police Service Fee (PSC).

Together with his appointment, Solomon Arase, retired Inspector Common of Police (IGP) has been sacked from his place as PSC chairman.

Arase was appointed Chairman, PSC in January 2023 by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Division of Justice, Increased Administration Certificates Course, ASCON, Lagos and Superior Detective Course, Police Employees School, Jos.
