5 Nigerian artistes have been nominated for the 66th Grammy Awards which will probably be held on February 4, 2024, on the Crypto.com Enviornment in Los Angeles.
Way of life Nigeria studies that the nominated artistes are Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake, and Olamide.
Whereas Grammy-winning star, Burna Boy bagged 4, Davido, in his first nomination, was chosen in three totally different classes.
Asake, Arya Starr, and Olamide obtained one nomination every.
The Nigerian artistes had been all nominated within the maiden Greatest African Music Efficiency class alongside South Africa’s Tyla.
Asake and Olamide’s ‘Amapiano’, Burna Boy’s ‘Metropolis Boys’, Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’, Davido and Musa Keys’ ‘Unavailable’, and Tyla’s ‘Water’ had been the nominees within the newly created class.
Burna Boy’s different nominations embody; ‘Sitting On Prime of the World’ that includes 21 Savage – Greatest Melodic Rap, ‘I Advised Them’ – Greatest World Music Album, and ‘Alone’ – Greatest World Music Efficiency.
Davido’s different nominations are; ‘Timeless’ – Greatest World Music Album, and ‘Really feel’ – Greatest World Music Efficiency.
