Avaada Vitality wins 560 MW photo voltaic challenge with $0.035/kWh bid in India

Avaada Vitality has gained a 560 MW (DC) photo voltaic challenge from Maharashtra State Electrical energy Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL). The challenge will provide energy to MSEDCL at a tariff of INR 2.88 ($0.035)/kWh.

Avaada Group says its Avaada Vitality unit has secured a 560 MW (DC) photo voltaic challenge within the Indian state of Maharashtra. 

MSEDCL awarded the challenge via aggressive bidding, adopted by an e-reverse public sale. Avaada Vitality emerged because the winner with 560 MW out of 700 MW (DC) auctioned, at a quoted tariff of INR 2.88/kWh.

MSEDCL will signal a 25-year energy buy settlement with Avaada Vitality. The challenge is ready for commissioning inside 18 months.

It’s anticipated to generate about 951 million models per 12 months and assist to yearly scale back 8,85,563 tons of CO2 equal emissions.
