The Division of State Providers has denied invading the workplace of the Governor of the Central Financial institution of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.

There have been stories in some media shops that the DSS had stormed the CBN headquarters to arrest the governor of the apex financial institution.

In a press release by the DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, the safety company denied arresting Emeifele.

Afunanya mentioned, “The eye of the Division of State Providers has been drawn to the false information making the rounds that its operatives invaded the Central Financial institution of Nigeria and arrested its governor, at the moment, January 16, 2023. The Central Financial institution of Nigeria has revealed that the embattled CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, has resumed obligation after his annual go away overseas.
