2023: Huge defection hits APC, as ex-Kogi Speaker, others defect to PDP

The Former Speaker, Kogi Home of Meeting, Alfa Imam, on Thursday led scores of supporters of the ruling APC to defect to the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP).

The Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) reviews that the previous speaker described their defection as “decisive” and “a step in the fitting path.”

Receiving the defectors on behalf of the PDP in Lokoja Native Authorities Space of Kogi, Sen Tunde Ogbeha, former Senator representing Kogi West, stated the ruling occasion had failed the nation.

He applauded the defectors’ resolution to “transfer out of APC to affix PDP that holds the ace, to take Nigeria to the promised land.

He welcomed Alfa Imam and the opposite defectors to PDP for his or her foresight, empathy and braveness.
