Troops of Operation Forest Sanity have neutralised 4 bandits throughout clearance operations in recognized bandits’ hideouts round Tsohon Gayan, Chikun Native Authorities Space of Kaduna State.

The Commissioner for Inner Safety and Residence Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the event in a press release on Sunday in Kaduna.

“The troops made contact and pursued the fleeing bandits, two bandits have been neutralised in the course of the engagement whereas credible human intelligence sources revealed that two others died from gunshot wounds.

“Credible sources within the basic space reported that two of the 4 neutralised bandits have been recognized as Dogo Mallam and Bello Mallam.”

Mr Aruwan the troops recovered one AK47 rifle, one journal with 22 rounds of ammunition and a motorbike.

The commissioner mentioned Governor Nasir El-Rufai praised the troops for his or her resilience and braveness.

He assured that the clearance operations will proceed within the basic space and different areas.
