The Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps says it has rescued no fewer than 4 minors from human traffickers and arrested one suspect.

Mohammed Dada, the NSCDC Sokoto State Commandant, confirmed this at a information convention in Sokoto on Tuesday.

Mr Dada stated the kids have been sighted by NSCDC personnel on the Sokoto Central market planning to board a automobile to Illela LGA with the suspect.

“The suspect, Abdulfatai Adeyemi, instructed our males that they have been from the South West heading to Niger Republic by the Illela border.

“He confessed that he obtained the minor women from one Alfa in Lagos State, who requested him to ship them to any individual in Sokoto,” the commandant stated.
