The Ministry of Setting and Pure Sources enforcement groups on Saturday arrested 103 folks in Nasarawa for violating environmental sanitation legal guidelines.

Abubakar Mohammed, the chief prosecuting officer of the ministry, disclosed this in Lafia after the state’s month-to-month sanitation train.

He mentioned the offenders have been arrested by the workforce throughout the 13 native authorities areas of the state for transacting their non-public companies whereas the sanitation train was in progress.

Mr Mohammed mentioned the offences violated part 9 (2) of the State Environmental Sanitation Legislation. He defined that the offenders have been prosecuted by varied cell courts throughout the state to function a deterrent to others.

In the meantime, Yakubu Kwanta, the commissioner for atmosphere and pure sources, expressed satisfaction on the degree of compliance with the sanitation train.
